ADOBE & WILLIE

Here is Adobe graduating on November 7th, 2009 from the San Rafael campus. He was presented by Ryan and Joe. Joe and Ellen were Adobe’s starter family. He was transferred to Ryan, Greg and Debbie who completed his puppy raising. Abode was matched with Willie from Midland, TX. Adobe is Willie's first guide dog.

HARDY

Hardy was selected as a breeder by GDB in July 2009. His puppy raising family applied and were accepted as his breeder keepers. Here he is being presented at the November 7th. 2009 graduation. His first litter of 5 puppies were in the kennels on his presentation day.

PHILBIN & ODIE

Congratulations to Gail and Tim, first time puppy raisers. Philbin graduated on August 29, 2009 with Odie, a broadcasting student from Iowa. Good Job!

FIJI

Fiji raised by Peggy and her family was selected as a K-9 Buddy by GDB. She was placed with a family in California.

Here is Scotland in his new role as a K-9 Buddy. He was placed with family in Colorado. Here he is with Emily as he begins his new role as a K-9 Buddy.

EDWARD

Edward was selected for In Home Training and left GDB on June 6th 2009 to start work with his new partner in Ohio. Brenda and Dan are the proud raisers of Edward and visited him before he flew east. Edward was their ninth dog.

Michener Dudley & Ellen

Michener graduates on January 31st 2009 with Dudley from Edmonton, Alberta. Michener was raised by our club leader Ellen and was her last German Shepherd. It was a beautiful day in Marin county and we are glad to see Michener heading off to Canada.

CHAYA Graduates.

Chaya graduates from the San Rafael campus of Guide Dogs for the Blind. Her raisers, Miranda and Shelly, pose with Marla who received Chaya on November 8th, 2008.

GATES

Gates is presented to his partner, Jenny by Debbie, Bethany and Josh. Gates was their first puppy. He graduated on October 4th, 2008 from the San Rafael campus and returned to Nordland, Washington.

COSGROVE

Here is Cosgrove with his new partner Tom and his puppy raisers Brenda and Dan. Cosgrove graduated on Oct 4th, 2008 in San Rafael. He returned to Tom home town of St. Paul, Minnesota.

HUGHES

Hughes graduated with Mandi on August 30th 2008. He is off to Florida to work with Mandi who turned 18 during classs. Hughes is her first guide.

Graduated on July 26th 2008. He went with Kimberely of Simi Valley, CA

JACKSON

Jackson with his raisers Brenda and Dan at his graduation on September 1st 2007. Jackson went to Douglas from Montana. Jackson is now retired and living with his puppy raisers.

Trinity & Jim

Please welcome Jim and his breeder Trinity. Besides keeping Trinity as a breeder for Guide Dogs for the Blind, Jim has joined our club as a puppysitter

BAYNA GRADUATES!

On March 10th, 2007, Cyndi presented (while reading a touching poem) Bayna to her new partner, Linda.

Unique

Unique, a female Yellow Lab is one of our "Breeders". Breeders are very special members of the Guide Dog family who have nearly perfect mental and physical traits. Unique has produced 4 litters, for a total of 19 puppies! Her most recent litter was whelped on March 18th, 2006, a litter of five. She was raised by Maureen, who still keeps Unique as part of her family to this day.

DUPONT AND ELLEN

On October 8th, 2005, Ellen presented Dupont to his new partner, Sean of Santa Rosa.

Bayna

Bayna did graduate on March 10th, 2007. Here she is, with her raiser, Cyndi, on the fun ferry trip to San Francisco.

GENESIS

Genesis, raised by Sonja and Ingrid, graduated November 12, 2005. She is currently guiding in Kay Janesville, Wi.

RHIANNON

Rhiannon, raised by Jeanne, graduated in 2005.
